The more we pray and talk to Him, the more in tune we become with His will. Gradually, our prayers change."

My daughter does the same thing but she is 13 and it isn't so cute anymore. She also does it until I look at her, because I have stopped saying, "What?" and she just smiles and says, Hi. When she was little she just needed me to see her, now that she is a teen.... I am glad she still wants me to see her. :)

Blessings,
DawnDawnhttp://www.journeysingrace.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27323310626821015.post-69416702901879032062015-06-12T10:11:27.029-07:002015-06-12T10:11:27.029-07:00Kristen, I remember my Mom saying I did the exact ...Kristen, I remember my Mom saying I did the exact thing as a small girl -Mom, Mom, Mom ... - endlessly calling her name until she answered. And then continuing. As little children we instinctively keep on asking until we receive, but then we get used to disappointment and things change.

Let's keep on asking and keep seeking Him because "The more we
pray and talk to Him, the more in tune we become with His will" (love this!). You're so right about some prayers being answered and others not - God is Sovereign and loves us too much to give us something that isn't good for us. It's not until we've developed a relationship with Him and know more about what His will is for us that our wants and desires begin to change to be more aligned with His will. This reminds me of Garth Brooks' song "Unanswered Prayers," In the song, we see that no matter how badly we think we need something, God truly knows what we need -and- when we need it.
I love your page design. I'm a fan of Ree Drummond as well and that comment you made about being an accidental farm girl brought a great big smile to my face.
I'd like to check out those linkups you've got listed above the comments field, that's fun.
Goodnight my sister, may God bless you and make His face to shine upon you. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04977038881414954663noreply@blogger.com
